The initial number of lock objects created by the Berkeley DB
environment
Namespace:
BerkeleyDBAssembly: libdb_dotnet53 (in libdb_dotnet53.dll) Version: 5.3.28.0
Syntax
C# |
---|
public uint InitLockObjectCount { get; set; } |
Visual Basic (Declaration) |
---|
Public Property InitLockObjectCount As UInteger |
Visual C++ |
---|
public: property unsigned int InitLockObjectCount { unsigned int get (); void set (unsigned int value); } |
Remarks
This value is used by Open(String, DatabaseEnvironmentConfig) to force Berkeley DB to allocate a certain number of lock objects when the environment is created. This can be useful if an application uses a large number of lock objects, and experiences performance issues with the default dynamic allocation algorithm.
If the database environment already exists when Open(String, DatabaseEnvironmentConfig) is called, the value of InitLockObjects will be ignored.
